Sharon L. Freeman has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Workers’ Compensation Law Attorney since March 2002. Since joining the firm in 1994, Ms. Freeman has concentrated her practice in the area of New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Law, zealously representing injured workers and their dependents before the New Jersey Appellate Court and the Division of Workers’ Compensation in over 12 counties throughout the State of New Jersey. Ms. Freeman is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ms. Freeman received a Bachelor of Science of Business Commerce, with a concentration in Spanish, from Rider University, Lawrenceville, New Jersey in 1989. She received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in December 1992. Ms. Freeman was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in June 1993, to the Pennsylvania Bar in July 1993 and to the United States District Court in June 1993. Ms. Freeman taught “Workers’ Compensation,” as an Adjunct Professor, at the Sussex County Community College and served as the moderator and a panelist for seminars offered by the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Institute for Continued Legal Education and by the Morris County Bar Association.
Ms. Freeman has been a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Association since 1994. She was a member of the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Section of the American Inns of Court Foundation from September 1997 to May 1999 as a pupil and from September 1999 to May 2000 as a barrister. From 2007 to present, Ms. Freeman has been an active member on the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Executive Committee. Since 2014 to date Ms. Freeman has served as the Chair of the Morris County Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation law Section.
