Bio Information
Patrick J. Dwyer joined the transactional section of the firm in May, 2013. He is the former General Counsel for High Ridge Properties, a real estate development firm headquartered in Manhattan. While at High Ridge he managed all legal affairs in connection with the development and leasing of a variety of commercial and residential real estate projects. He has also previously been engaged in general practice.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Dwyer has concentrated his practice on business and real estate transactions and related litigation. He represents developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers and brokers throughout Northern New Jersey and the metropolitan New York City area. He also represents several municipal land use boards and a regional sewerage authority.
Mr. Dwyer graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School. He is admitted to the New Jersey Bar, New York Bar, United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second and Third Federal District Courts. He is a member of the Morris County, New Jersey and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Dwyer currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Land Use Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and as Associate Counsel for the New Jersey Planning Officials. He is a frequent panelist at land use and real estate seminars. He volunteers his time on behalf of Rebuilding Together NJ and the Mt. Olive Child Care & Learning Center.
